Thank you to all of those patients who completed our recent patient survey. Your answers will help us improve our service. We are currently analysing your feedback and we would like to share the initial findings with you.
Overall, most of you were satisfied with your consultation and with our practice. Ninety-seven percent of patient ratings about Charlton Medical were good, very good, or excellent. We discovered that the interpersonal skills of our clinical staff, Dr Webb and Dr Takla, and their ability to communicate with you, were ranked most highly.
- Most of you felt that our doctors treated you with respect
- Most of you were pleased with their ability to listen
- Most of you felt able to express your concerns and fears
- Most of you felt that our doctors took your personal situation into consideration
- Most of you felt reassured and were pleased with the explanations you received.
You were least satisfied with access and availability. Unsurprisingly, our lowest rating was for waiting time in the surgery. We know, and we’re sorry. We keep trying to improve on this.
The feedback also indicated further areas that we can improve including:
- Your levels of satisfaction with obtaining a home/other visit
- Your satisfaction with our service after-hours
- Your opportunity to speak to a doctor by telephone.
As a result of the feedback, we are planning on making some changes to improve the services and care we provide to you moving forward. We will give you more information about these changes as we work through the survey feedback in more detail so you can see how your feedback helps us improve.
