Did you know?

Did you know that Lynne Southwell had worked for Charlton Medical for 20 years before her retirement on the 1st of April 2022? She also worked for Dr Brian Walklate before us, making her total time at the front desk a whopping 32 years!

Lynne is enjoying having more time to do the things she loves: golf, bowls, croquet, caring for her much loved grandchildren, and spending time with Nugget, but she leaves a huge hole in the Charlton Medical family - one that we will never completely fill.

Lynne was the patient's advocate, going the extra mile to help. She always managed to find that elusive appointment and to persuade Dr Stephen to do just one more thing before heading home. She rocked a baby Jemimah 20 years ago, and has done much the same for many others since.

We know how much you all loved and appreciated Lynne. We love and miss her too.
